How are ways of knowing excluded in transdisciplinary collaborations? How can transdisciplinary collaborations provide fair compensation for all who dedicate time and effort to the collaboration? How can transdisciplinary processes be made more fair, inclusive and equitable by including reflective processes?
In this i2Insights contribution, CUCo fellows Annisa Triyanti, Corinne Lamain, Jessica Duncan and Jillian Student focus on a prerequisite of just transdisciplinary collaboration, namely recognition that diverse types of knowledge have value – they are not the same, but they can contribute to the aims of the collaboration and the advancement of more complex understandings. In particular, they consider: understanding exclusion, sharing benefits and facing challenges using reflection.
