Purpose
Generate creativity and create awareness of perspective taking.
Description
With participants in inter- and transdisciplinary collaborations coming from different backgrounds, this activity helps to set the stage regarding analysing a problem from the position of each interested discipline/background and identify commonalities and differences.
Instructions
- Give each participant one paperclip, one pencil and one A4.
- Invite participants to make use of the paperclip in any way preferred, to create a drawing on the A4 in two minutes.
- Ask each participant to pass their drawing to the person sitting to their left.
- Ask each participant to give a title/description to the drawing.
- Put all drawings on a table and invite participants to check all drawings and identify commonalities and differences between interpretations of each drawing.
