Purpose
Spark reflections on the process of knowledge integration in inter- and transdisciplinary collaborations
Description
For full instructions, see hand-out & slides.
- Exploration
Provide participants with a diversity of food ingredients. All participants pick one ingredient and are invited to:
- Explore ingredient & combine ingredients
- Translation
Invite participants to reflect on:
- What’s the equivalent of ingredients in ITD integration?
- What’s the equivalent of the cook in ITD integration?
- Harvest
In plenary, invite groups to share their insights. End with a reflection on cooking as metaphor for ITD integration: what does it highlight and what does it mask? What alternative metaphors could be useful when thinking about ITD integration?
