CUCo is proud to announce that the Plasticity team has published a special issue with Interdisciplinary Science Reviews. The issue features contributions from Loai Abdelmohsen, Onur Basak, Yaron Caspi, Jeff Diamanti, Tamalone van den Eijnden and Esmee Geerken. Most of their contributions are available on an open-access basis.

The articles have been distributed over the past two ISR issues: Volume 50 Issue 3-5, September 2025, and Volume 51 Issue 1-2, March 2026, respectively.

In the team’s own words: “Plasticity is a concept associated with change, as well as resistance to change. During the last century, the concept has become a key component of several scientific disciplines, including philosophy and the arts. However, despite association with change, the type of change and the possibilities afforded by plasticity differ across fields of research. In this special issue, plasticity is analysed through the kaleidoscope of multiple disciplines, with the goal to encourage dissemination of the concept in new domains of scholarship.”
